About This Review

As you review, notice which ideas resonate more strongly now than they did initially. This natural deepening is part of the workbook's design — each review builds on the foundation of daily practice.

The body, while we are doing this practice, is being released from a role it never could fully play. It has been carrying the weight of being who we are. The Course has been showing us that this is not the body's role. The body is a temporary vehicle, used kindly, used wisely, used for the year of practice and for whatever the rest of the life will hold. It does not need to be the bearer of our identity.

When the body is released from this role, something curious happens. The body becomes lighter to inhabit. The aches do not need to be defended against quite so vigorously. The mirror does not need to be argued with. The body is allowed to be a body, and what we are is allowed to be what we are. Both, at the same time, in a peaceful coexistence the practice has been preparing.

For today. Read today's lesson in the Workbook. Repeat the affirmation. Be kind to the body that is carrying you through this year.
